Accreditation, Recertification and Teacher Training

EEAAC / UFF HEALTH SCIENCE ACADEMIC PROGRAM ACCREDITATION AND RECOGNITION STANDARDS

The Academic Program in Health Care Sciences (PACCS) of the Aurora de Afonso Costa Nursing School of UFF (EEAAC / UFF) has the process of accreditation and re-accreditation of permanent teachers of the Program, according to Resolution 02/2010 of the Regulation for the Stricto Sensu Postgraduate Programs of the Fluminense Federal University.

Teachers who submit a letter of request to the PACCS Board may be accredited in the Program, accompanied by the Work Plan for the next 4 years and proof of the scientific productions of the last 4 years. The Curriculum must be updated on the Lattes Platform, within the deadline set by the Program.

Accreditation in the program follows the proportion of 60% of nurse teachers and 40% for teachers in areas related to the program proposal.

Considering the specificities of Stricto Sensu Postgraduate:

  • The evaluation criteria for Postgraduate Programs, approved by CAPES (Higher Education Personnel Improvement Coordination) and by the PACCS Board, recommend an academic staff considering its title, experience as a productive researcher and its suitability to the Program Proposal;
  • It should involve experienced and qualified PhD in the Course area, with relevant intellectual production, constituted of publications with Qualis Capes and technical and scientific production;
  • The training modality aims at training for advanced studies, research, knowledge production, technological innovation, through the incorporation of the scientific method, assuring health transformations in the Country and meeting SUS (Unified Health System) Guidelines.

TEACHER TRAINING AT PACCS / EEAAC / UFF

The Academic Program in Health Care Sciences (PACCS) of the Aurora de Afonso Costa Nursing School of UFF (EEAAC / UFF) has the modality of teachers call of trainning.

Candidates may attend training in only one (1) Postgraduate Program. They must present documentation and work plan compatible with the PACCS proposal. The Curriculum must be updated on the Lattes Platform within the deadline set by the Program.

Considering the specificities of Stricto Sensu Postgraduate courses and PACCS teacher training, the following recommendations are pertinent:

  • Titration of the academic staff, experience as a productive researcher and suitability to the Program Proposal, according to the evaluation criteria of the Postgraduate Programs, approved by CAPES (Higher Education Personnel Improvement Coordination).
  • Involvement of experienced and qualified PhDs in the Course area, with relevant intellectual production, consisting of publications with Qualis Capes and significant technical and scientific production;
  • Objective training with the qualification for advanced studies, research, knowledge production, technological innovation, through the incorporation of the scientific method, aiming at transformations in health in the country and meeting the SUS (Unified Health System) Guidelines.
